This is the second form for our upcoming UrbexVault App. The app will be completely free and it's made BY urbexers FOR urbexers. This form takes less than 5 minutes to complete.
First, we want to ask a few questions about you...
In the previous form, many of you told us that you either don't share locations to others or only share them with close friends. We came up with so called "trust circles", meaning you can share your desired locations only with those you trust.
A lot of urbexers take photos from their adventures. That's why we want to have our monthly photo challenges (as we have going on in our Discord right now!) built into the app!

Most of the urbexers are using Google Maps. The rest are split between Apple Maps and Notes. None of these were built for what we do!
Google Maps has tags for labeling saved locations but it hasn't been here for too long, so I bet not many of us have updated all of our saved locations with the appropriate tag.
Keeping location info up-to-date is hard. Info gets old, places get demolished or security changes. Finding new locations in your area gets really hard after some time too.
That's why we came up with so called "quests"
You own the data and the syncing is optional. You could also have all your data stored on your device, offline.
No, only those that the community as a whole agrees on. Only people who have the location itself will be able to vote, whether it should be available for quests or not.
We will use GPS and if it is in an area without cellular access then you will be prompted to take/upload a picture(s) as proof. Picture proof will be also used to verify whether you helped preserving the location.
We won't be giving out the locations randomly. First, we will be prompting you exclusively with locations in and around your area and based on your “trust level”. Newcomers won't have access to the better spots straight away anyway. The more you explore, contribute and use our app - the more trust you'll build. If a certain user gets bad reputation and reasonable reports from others, he will be banned.
